Privacy Policy
Effective: 9 September 2026
This policy explains how Offclox collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use our website, Android app, and event planning services.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile image, login provider, and account type. We also store content you choose to create, including organizations, events, tasks, budgets, guest details, vendor records, documents, invitations, approvals, and messages sent to support.
We collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate and protect the service, such as feature interactions, timestamps, session information, and security or audit records. We do not sell personal information.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide event planning features, support collaboration, respond to requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and improve Offclox.
Sharing and service providers
Information is visible to people you invite to the same workspace or event according to their permissions. We use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, and operational tooling. They process data only to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, Offclox, or the public.
If you choose Sign in with Google, Google provides basic account details needed to sign you in. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Retention and security
We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Support, security, and legal records may be kept for a limited period where necessary. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
You can update profile information in Settings. You can permanently delete your account from Settings → Delete account. You can also use our public account deletion page if you cannot sign in.
Deletion removes your account, personal workspace, and data owned solely by you. Content in a shared workspace may remain for other members with your identity removed. We may retain limited information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.
Children
Offclox is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can remove it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. We will post the updated date on this page. For privacy questions or requests, email offclox@gmail.com.
